Many thanks to all of the volunteers and businesses who give their time and talent to the Days of Caring!
Our June 6th Day of Caring with the United Way of York County was absolutely wonderful!
Hussey Seating, Pratt & Whitney, and, Kennebunk Savings Bank all had teams of volunteers at our site! We had a new bathroom framed up, a new entryway built, much painting done of trim boards and T-111 for the exterior of the barn, patching, landscaping, a mailbox pole installed, and so much more! We want all of the volunteers to know that you not only had an effect on the building and the property, but on our hearts as well and on our students and the community members who use the building. Because of you, the South Berwick Youth Center will have accessible new bathrooms, our entryway is now a protected one, the building is more up to par, the landscaping looks wonderful, and, it's a happy place!
